- Screws into a standard E26 socket
- Light and 2K camera in one
- Runs on the Wyze app
A two-lens pan-tilt camera that takes its power from a ceiling or lamp socket instead of a wall outlet. Its base is E27, while US fittings are E26, so the socket comes before anything else.
The hardest part of placing an indoor camera is often the power lead. This camera avoids it. It screws into a light socket, draws its 3W from the fitting, and needs no outlet, no drilling and no cable along the skirting.
Inside the bulb-shaped body are two lenses, shown as two separate screens in the iCSee app. The camera pans 355° and tilts 90°, and auto-tracking swings it after anyone walking through. Its maker rates it at 8MP on a Sony CMOS sensor.
Places where a socket is the easiest power source:
A ceiling socket also gives the best height a room offers. Looking down from the centre of a hall, the lenses see faces instead of the backs of heads, and nothing sits within reach of a hand.
Whether the 8MP is one lens or split across two is not stated. Dual-lens iCSee models usually quote a combined number, so expect each screen to show a 4MP-class picture rather than full 4K. The resolution guide explains the per-lens reading.
Its rating is indoor only, across -10°C to 60°C, enough for an unheated garage in most climates.

The camera's base is E27, a 27mm Edison screw common in Europe and Asia. Standard US and Canadian fittings are E26, 26mm across. The two look alike and may even turn together, but they are different standards.
For a device that stays powered every hour of the year, a proper fit matters more than a quick one. Before buying, go through the fitting itself:
Voltage is no obstacle. The input runs from AC 100V to 230V; a US 120V circuit sits comfortably inside that, with no converter.
Leave the camera out of wet or open-air fittings. An outdoor porch lantern that is exposed to rain is outside its indoor rating, even though the porch itself might seem the obvious spot for a bulb camera.
For a longer look at sockets, adapters and fixtures, see the iCSee light bulb camera guide.
Setup is quicker than most iCSee cameras because it pairs over Bluetooth. Do it at the socket it will use, so the Wi-Fi signal you test is the one it will live with.
If the picture shows upside down, that follows from the socket's direction; the image flip setting in iCSee corrects it. The setup guide has the QR code route if Bluetooth pairing does not start.
Night modes and what they suit indoors:
Infrared reach is about 10m, enough for most rooms and hallways. Alarms can go out as app pushes, email photos or FTP uploads, and a local alarm can sound at the camera.
H.265 compression keeps the card from filling as fast as older cameras would, which matters with two screens recording at once. Cloud storage is available as a paid monthly option, and the card remains optional if you choose it.
A bulb camera wins where there is a socket and no outlet. Where an outlet is close, or the E27 base is a concern, other cameras may suit the spot better.
| Camera | Power | Lenses | App |
|---|---|---|---|
| This E27 bulb camera | E27 socket | 2 | iCSee |
| Wyze Bulb Cam 2K | E26 socket | 1 | Wyze |
| 4MP dual-lens pan-tilt | Plug-in adapter | 2 | iCSee |
| Screen baby monitor | DC 5V adapter | 1 | iCSee |
The Wyze Bulb Cam 2K has an E26 base and so fits a US socket with no adapter, but it runs on the Wyze app and will not join your iCSee cameras in one device list. It is the choice when native E26 fit matters more than keeping one app.
The two-lens design is the real separator. A single-lens bulb camera shows one picture that turns; this one shows two pictures at once, one of them on the pan-tilt lens. In a hallway with two entrances, that second screen can decide whether both are on record while the camera follows someone up the stairs.
Choose this E27 camera when you want two lenses and pan-tilt in an iCSee system and are content to use an adapter. Choose a plug-in pan-tilt where an outlet sits near a shelf. Choose the screen monitor when someone in the room should be able to call you.
Before ordering, check:
US sockets are E26. An E27 base may turn into one, but a proper E26-to-E27 adapter gives a correct fit for a device that stays on all the time.
No. It accepts AC 100–230V, which covers US 120V mains.
It is a camera first. Its LEDs support night vision, and the maker gives no lumen rating, so keep another light in the room.
It is rated for indoor use. Keep it out of fittings exposed to rain.
It pairs over Bluetooth and then runs on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi in the iCSee app.
